The Northeast Chamber, the event host, believes that Northeast Minneapolis values a culture of giving and supports the needs of its neighbors. With that in mind Northeast Riverfeast will feature an event component called the “Northeast Community Chest”.
The Chamber has designated a minimum of $2000 to be distributed to Northeast non-profits as part of the community event.
Event attendees have the opportunity to cast their vote for their favorite eligible non-profits. The top four non-profits that receive the most votes will receive funding.
